Data Examples
Immunohistochemistry | EphB1 in Rat Brain. EphB1 was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of rat brain (dorsal root ganglia) using Mouse Anti-Rat EphB1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB5422) at 25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # ) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm in small-sized neurons. View our protocol for . |

Background: EphB1
EphB1, also known as Elk, Cek6, Net, and Hek6, is a type I transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase with two extracellular fibronectin type III domains. EphB1 binds Ephrin B1, B2, and B3 and plays an important role in nervous system development and axonal migration. Within the extracellular domain, rat EphB1 shares 99% amino acid sequence identity with human and mouse EphB1.
