• Greiner Poly-Lysine CELLCOAT products are coated with either Poly-D or Poly-L Lysine. Both forms are synthetically manufactured, so ensuring the product is free from any foreign biological material. Coating with Poly-Lysine causes the negatively charged polystyrene to become positively charged on its surface. This change in polarity enhances cell adhesion even in low or serum free medium. Shelf life is two years at room temp. Each pack is clearly labelled with lot number and expiry date. PDD and PLL coating is available on 60mm dishes, 6, 24 and 96 well Microplates. PDL is also available on 100mm dishes, 25, 75 and 175cm flasks and 384 well Microplates. MicroClear plates are manufactured using a patented process to produce a black or white plate with an ultra thin clear base. The pigmented plate stops cross talk and the ultra thin base greatly reduces the risk of light "piping" across the base of the plate. The clear base allows visualisation of cells or allows the choice of top or bottom reading of assay plates. MicroClear plates are available in 96, 384 (standard and small volumume low base) and 1536 (Hi and low base).
