Western Blot | Detection of Human HES‑4 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of PC-3 human prostate cancer cell line. Gels were loaded with 30 μg of whole cell lysate (WCL), 20 μg of cytoplasmic (Cyto), and 10 μg of nuclear extracts (Nuc). PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL Mouse Anti-Human HES‑4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3600) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # ). Background: HES-4
The Notch pathway maintains embryonic stem cells by up‑regulation of HES and Hey basic helix-loop-helix family members, which repress tissue specific expression. HES-4 is up‑regulated in gastric and colorectal cancers. It shares high homology with HES-1, HES-2, and HES-3.
