Preparation and Storage

• Reconstitution

  Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

• Shipping

  The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below. *Small pack size (SP) is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -20 to -70 °C

  Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: TREM-2

TREM-2 is a single Ig domain receptor expressed by cells of myeloid lineage. Two closely related transcripts were reported in mouse and designated TREM-2a and TREM-2b. TREM-2 is a pattern recognition receptor that binds anionic ligands. It associates with the adapter protein DAP12 to deliver an activating signal that plays a role in both innate and adaptive immune responses.
