Human TGFß / BMP Signaling Pathway DNA Methylation PCR Array, Signature Panel:
EAHS-351Z The Human TGFβ/BMP Signaling Pathway EpiTect Methyl II Signature PCR Array profiles the promoter methylation status of a panel of 22 promoters of genes involved in TGFβ and BMP-mediated signaling during carcinogenesis and cellular differentiation. The TGFß signaling pathway suppresses tumor growth early in oncogenesis, but then stimulates metastasis in later stages. Cancer genomes often demonstrate hypermethylation and silencing of genes encoding members of this pathway, from receptors (TGFBR2) to transcription factors (SMAD4). Profiling cellular or fresh tissue genomic DNA samples with these arrays may help correlate CpG island methylation status with biological phenotypes. The results may also help provide further insights into how TGFβ signaling contributes to carcinogenesis and cellular differentiation. With a simple restriction enzyme digestion and real-time PCR, research studies can analyze the promoter methylation status of 22 different TGFß/BMP Signaling Pathway members with this DNA methylation PCR array.
Both 96-well and 384-well ( 4 X 96 ) formats are available.

BMP Signaling: BAMBI, BMP2, BMP3, BMP4, BMP6, GDF6, NOG, SMAD1, SMAD4, SMAD6, SMURF1.
Activin Signaling: SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD6.
Nodal Signaling: LEFTY1, SMAD2, SMAD3, SMAD4, SMAD6.
